Dr. John O.A.
Pagano has been writing and singing songs for as long as he has
been a Chiropractic
Physician
- a span of over forty years! Torn between the callings of
"healing" and "music" he decided to pursue both. That, combined
with his interest and ability as a painter (particularly of western
scenes), makes his life well diversified. As a physician, he is best known the world over as an award winning author and international speaker on healing the skin diseases psoriasis and eczema, using only natural means. His book HEALING PSORIASIS:The Natural Alternative has been the #1 Bestseller in its category since 1998 with both Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. The book came out in 1991 and was followed in 2000 by Dr. John's Healing Psoriasis Cookbook...Plus! which helps the patient implement the regimen outlined in the book. Both books are sold all over the world. Visit Dr. Pagano's other website, http://www.psoriasis-healing.com, for more information!
As an ASCAP songwriter, Dr. Pagano enjoys writing songs of all types
in the tradition of the 40's and 50's, his mentors being such
composers as Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen, and Cole Porter. For many
years he performed his one-man act with guitar and voice for the
Catholic Actor's Guild throughout the New York tri-state area. His
very first song "The Sand Hills of Nebraska" came out of his working
as a cowhand on one of the largest cattle ranches in Nebraska in the
early 60's. Since then he just kept writing songs on topics that
inspired him. "Happy Holiday Music" marks his first complete album
as songwriter/singer/producer. |
